More than two and a half years after its initial release, Mandy Moore's "All Good Things" continues to achieve remarkable popularity with an acclaimed cover by pop-folk band, The Weepies.
Debuting on Mandy's fifth studio album, "Wild Hope," the track was re-recorded by singing-songwriting duo, Deb Talan and Steve Tannen for The Weepies most recent release, "Hideaway."
Representing a collaborative effort, "All Good Things" is one of five tracks that were co-written by Talan and Tannen in support of Mandy's 2007 release. Assisting in the composition of songs ranging from "Extraordinary," to "Wild Hope," the duo represented the largest outside contributor to the hit album.
Known for such songs as "World Spins Madly On," "Gotta Have You," and "All This Beauty," The Weepies take on "All Good Things" is a rare treat. Combining a jazzier feel with a mellower tempo, Talan and Tannen apply their unique sound with unexpected results.
Enjoy!
