Since taking to both the blogosphere and Twitter in support of Earthquake-raved Haiti, Mandy Moore has taken her recent philanthropic call to action, to the popular Huffington Post.
Speaking from the heart in the nearly minute-long video and blog-posting, Mandy expresses herself candidly. "The earthquake that struck Haiti devastated an already-fragile country," she says. "Without resources--water, sanitation, and health services--more death will occur."
"There are many, many, organizations working around the clock to bring aid to those who need it most," she continues, "and PSI is one of them! PSI has been working in Haiti for 20 years. They know how to get life-saving products to people in need."
Mandy's bottom line? Anything helps. "It doesn't take much--for as little as 50 cents," she writes, "PSI can provide safe drinking water to a family of four in Haiti for an entire month. Just think, for $6 you can provide a year of clean water for a family in need."
