On the heels of Mandy Moore's philanthropic efforts in Southern Sudan, Koru Fundraising has teamed up with the 25 year old songstress for an exciting new philanthropic opportunity!
In an effort to support the people of East Africa, Koru Fundraising has recently launched a series of one-of-a-kind bracelets known as "relief beads." Manufactured by residents of Sudan's troubled Darfur-region, the one-of-a-kind pieces support hardworking men and women with fair wages, adequate working conditions, and long-term employment.
Joined by an A-list team including Marcia Cross, Jessica Biel, and the cast of High School Musical, Mandy Moore appears prominently in promotional materials for the new line. Available for fundraising by American and Canadian charities, organizations, and groups, each bracelet provides a life-saving six dollars to the people of Darfur, while four dollars is donated directly to that of each participating non-profit.
