Have You Seen Mandy Moore in "All I Want?"

AllIWant_MandyMoore "All I Want" is a coming-of-age film directed by Jeffrey Porter. Featuring a potent cast of stars, the film follows the story of James Dillon (Elijah Wood), a 17-year old whose decision to drop out of college on the first day leads to a new life in a run-down apartment building. Surrounded by a strange new group of neighbors, James retreats into a world of his own imagination as he writes to his absentee father and fends off an alcoholic and often abusive mom.

Mandy Moore plays Lisa, a twenty-something struggling actress with an eye for James. Eager to seduce the naive teen, Lisa engulfs her captivated-neighbor as the pair embark on a brief yet highly-charged affair. A vapid yet appealing young woman, Mandy is one of two neighbors who ultimately offer James his first sense of adult happiness and heartbreak as she flits and flirts in and out of his life.

Other co-stars include Franka Potente, Elizabeth Perkins, and Deborah Harry. Written by Charles Kephart, "All I Want" is a thought-proviking film founded on the innocence of youth with plenty of room for imperfection and acceptance.

Have You Seen Mandy Moore in "Romance & Cigarettes?"

RomanceandCigarettesMoviePoster_MandyMoore "Romance & Cigarettes" is a sensational musical drama directed by actor/filmmaker John Turturro. Featuring an all-star cast, the film follows the story of Nick Murder, a middle-aged iron worker (James Gandolfini) who strays from his beleaguered wife (Susan Sarandon) into the arms of a seductive sales girl (Kate Winslet). Featuring music by the likes of Tom Jones, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, and James Brown, the film's characters use their favorite songs as a means of communicating their deepest emotions.

Mandy Moore plays Baby, Nick's one-of-a-kind daughter. The youngest of three girls, Baby's personality is contrasted against sisters Connie (Mary-Louise Parker) and Rosebud (Aida Turturro). A tempestuous mixture of her fiery parents, Baby's only weakness is for her pompadour-sporting, James Brown-wannabe boyfriend, Fryburg (Bobby Cannavale).

Other co-stars including Steve Buscemi, Christopher Walken, and Eddie Izzard complete the unique fabric that is "Romance & Cigarettes." Produced by the Coen Brothers, this 2005 feature is a dish best served with an appetite for popular song, pointed comedy, and plenty of imagination.
